US Cellular launches the messaging oriented Samsung Character for $39.99

Last week, we reported that the messaging oriented Samsung Character was bound for the US seeing that it was up on Samsung’s US web site, but there was no mention as to which wireless provider would be offering it.
Well, it appears that US Cellular decided to nap the device for themselves as it’s now currently available for purchase for the affordable 2-year contract price of only $39.99. If owning a smartphone is rather too cumbersome or complex for you, then you might want to consider the Samsung Character instead seeing that it’s nothing more than your middle of the road messaging phone.
