Kensington Orbit Wireless Mobile Trackball Pro Reviews

Macworld‘s review Edit

Kensington’s Orbit Wireless Mobile Trackball is the first one I’ve found that’s compact enough to take on the road while still being good enough to make me want to bring it along. The ball itself is responsive and precise; the buttons are well-positioned and easy to use; the design is comfortable and relatively ergonomic; and the software provides a good number of configuration options. (If only the Orbit Mobile had more buttons to take better advantage of all those options.) The touch-sensitive scrolling mechanism, however, is a bit of a disappointment. It’s certainly usable, and I eventually got used to its behavior, but with smoother, more-sensitive scrolling, the Orbit Wireless would be a standout portable accessory.
