General Electric E1410SW Pro Reviews

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The GE E1410SW is a decent camera for the money. It's best suited for someone needing a simple automatic point-and-shoot with a long lens to stick in pocket or purse for casual snapshots in daylight to be used for small prints or Web sharing. I know, that's a lot of qualifiers, but that's the case for a lot of sub-$200 cameras. The benefits to getting this model are the lens, the size, and the extra shooting options including fast burst shooting, which, again, you won't find on many, if any, new cameras at this price.

Steve's Digicams‘s review Edit

The GE E1410SW is an ultra-compact digicam loaded with powerful features such as; the 14-Megapixel CMOS imaging sensor, 10x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilization, full 1080p HD video capture and some great high-speed burst capture modes. All these features produce an overall image that is good, but not great due to noise and a little trouble with the auto white balance. Battery life is pretty much horrible, and you'll want to pick up a spare pack if you plan on taking more than 80-100 photos at one event. With that in mind, the fact that the camera has a MSRP of just $159.99 USD means that you will probably not find another camera loaded with these features anywhere near this price. Therefore, we do give it some props for offers good bang for your buck.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The $160 General Electric E1410SW packs an impressive 10x zoom lens and is capable of capturing some nice photos at lower ISO settings. But this unbeatable bargain comes with some compromises.
