Motorola XPRT Pro Reviews

PC World‘s review Edit

The everyday smartphone shopper will probably pass on the XPRT, but its security and enterprise features will please any business or IT professional, and its design is ideal for banging out e-mail and text messages quickly. The display isn't great for video or gaming, however, and the camera is mediocre. If you're looking for a phone on Sprint that can keep you entertained for hours, you might want to check out the HTC EVO 3D.

SlashGear‘s review Edit

This here is what we’d call the business Android phone. While it may not be a top end phone it’s where top tier devices were 6-8 months ago and will make any user happy. If you want a physical keyboard without having a large slider phone this is your device. If you are in it for browsing the web or gaming I’d highly suggest you look elsewhere but for the business minded this is perfect.

brighthand‘s review Edit

For right niche of users, including the BlackBerry addicts who love the form factor, and anyone who wants to take their Sprint phone overseas, the XPRT has a lot of upsides. Not the least being a phone that you can be sure will work as long and as hard as you do. For those who need it, the XPRT's power and international roaming should greatly outweigh the allure of a bigger screen or faster internet access. But with a relatively low resolution screen, and limited internal memory, I don't expect that it will make any significant inroads among the general public.

The Motorola XPRT offers a decent array of business features that add up to a solid, if not spectacular, enterprise Android smartphone.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Despite a few shortcomings, the Motorola XPRT is a great alternative to the BlackBerry due to its enterprise-level features and globe-trotting capabilities.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

The XPRT is the first Motorola CDMA device Sprint has carried in quite some time and marks the beginning of a renewed relationship between the two companies. While it may be an older device on the market, it is a good one and is needed in Sprint’s lineup. Many power users will no doubt choose the HTC EVO 3D or hold out for the upcoming Motorola Photon 4G, but the XPRT gives Sprint a solid phone for enterprise users who want to get away from RIM but still keep the security features a BES offered them. We’d imagine the keyboard, familiar design and good battery life will also land the XPRT in the pocket of many casual BlackBerry owners or first time smartphone buyers.
