Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 91z Pro Reviews

DesktopReview‘s review Edit

We would recommend the Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 91z to anyone who needs a new business PC (or anyone who wants an all-in-one in general). Lenovo was able to fit good hardware, a decent build, and a big and beautiful full HD (1080p) display into an all-in-one for under $1000. Some resellers are even selling the 91z with the specs in our review unit for around $700. While using the Edge 91z, we noticed that it would be easy to forget that you're working on your office PC instead of your home computer. What office PC has such a dazzling 21.5-inch display with edge-to-edge glossy glass and such a stylish design? The combination of the core specifications in our review unit worked well together. The Intel Core i5-2400S quad-core CPU, 4GB-1333 RAM, and Intel HD graphics were able to multi-task office productivity apps and then some with a breeze, despite that the processor in the system doesn't have hyperthreading. Fullscreen FHD (1080p) video also looked great. Another great feature was that it ran completely silent even when exerted, a detail we don't want to just overlook. A silent machine is very important--nobody wants to hear a constant distracting buzzing noise while working.

reghardware‘s review Edit

There’s nothing particularly exciting about the ThinkCentre 91z, but it’s a safe choice if you simply want a compact desktop PC for routine office work. However, rivals such as Dell and HP are selling more stylish systems with more memory and disk space for about the same price, so the 91z may struggle to stand out from the crowd.

PC World‘s review Edit

Lenovo's ThinkCentre Edge M91z is a powerful business machine that has the added benefit of being pretty cool-looking. It's missing a few features we'd like to see--such as an HDMI-in port, Bluetooth connectivity, and a discrete graphics card, but at $900 it's a great choice for SMBs.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

For those interested in a good-looking, fast midrange all-in-one, the Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 91z will fit in easily in any home office. Just don't ask it to do too much outside of its strait-laced business purview.

Despite having a small hard disk, the ThinkCentre 91z 7075D2G is a good choice if you want a powerful and fairly versatile all-in-one PC. The 91z is worth buying if you want a decent processor but don't need much by way of graphical power or storage.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

Lenovo's SMB-oriented ThinkCentre Edge line expands to the all-in-one desktop space with the ThinkCentre Edge 91z. It's reasonably priced, powerful, and can give the iMac a run for its place in a design studio.
