Samsung SyncMaster C27A750X Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Samsung C27A750 is chock-full of new technology, with UWB wireless display connection being the real highlight. But none of it comes cheap, and there are slight limitations to many of the features that we hope will be ironed out in future screens. Given that it costs nearly £500 for a flat-panel that uses TN technology, it isn’t good value for money. However, this does show us the way things may go, and should the price fall a little, it may prove an enticing taste of the future.

In the end, we think the Samsung SyncMaster C27A750 is Dam Innovative and if you can live with some slightly lowered expectations – and be willing to put in some TLC into calibration – it will reward you with a fairly enjoyable experience. Having a single at-home hub for a mouse, keyboard, monitor and printer can be priceless for people on the move and that’s exactly what this monitor offers. The C27A750 and its 24” sibling may be the only available monitors with Samsung’s newfound connectivity prowess but we’re anxious to see the technology branch into upcoming products as well.

It’s too expensive to totally recommend right now, but as a proof of concept the C27A750 works brilliantly

It might not offer the best image quality or ergonomics around, but with its impressive wireless capabilities and well-thought-out hub, Samsung's attractive and innovative new CA750 series offers the most extensive feature-set going. Considering that no other monitor in the world offers this kind of wireless convenience - and that even when using separate devices it's quite difficult to get 1080p video streaming combined with audio and data - the C27A750X is actually decent value too, though the £100 difference with its 23in sibling is difficult to justify.
