Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Pro Reviews

www.whatdigitalcamera.com‘s review Edit

Leaving aside its macro label, the only other issue is the fact that its restricted maximum aperture, especially at longer focal lengths, will impose some creative limitations on picture-taking. Overall, however, this is an impressive and competitively-priced lens.

slrgear‘s review Edit

While its 28mm maximum wide angle translates into an equivalent focal length of 45mm on the Rebel and 20D models, the 28-135mm IS makes for an excellent medium-long tele zoom, and the benefit of optical image stabilization is hard to overstate. If your photography tends more toward the tele end of the scale, this would make an excellent "second lens" as you add to your dSLR toolkit.

The-Digital-Picture‘s review Edit

When someone is looking for a decent quality but very affordable walk-around lens, the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens is one of the lenses I will often recommend to them. The 28-135 IS is an upper-mid-grade consumer lens with image stabilization, a longer but still great focal length range and a low price.
