CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The HP DreamColor LP2480zx is a performance monster that costs too much for the features it offers.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

At almost £2,000, the HP DreamColor LP2480zx isn’t exactly a budget 24in monitor, and HP is taking on some tough competition from Eizo and NEC. The wider gamut and extra features give it a technical edge, but considering that a similarly specced professional 30in panel is only £300 more, we can’t help feeling the LP2480zx could be priced more competitively.

In the DreamColor LP2480zx, HP has delivered an early candidate for product of the year. Its 30-bit panel and colour space support are unprecedented in this price range, while the ease of use and wealth of options can't be easily faulted. Now all HP need do is make a 30in version!
