If you are looking to overclock a GTX 570 you will have a hard time topping the ASUS GTX 570 DirectCU II especially at its current price. As long as triple slot cooling is not an issue this is a fabulous card from ASUS that should be on your very short list.

When it comes to making a recommendation on this card, I think the cooling system is a great addition to the card, especially at the price. Choice is good, but really the usefulness of this card is going to lie directly in the hands of the end user. My recommendation on this card is a simple, resounding — if you can fit it and it won't bump things it shouldn't be bumping, and your power supply has the proper power connections above the original specifications, and your motherboard can support the size of this card (twice if you're considering SLI) — YES!

These both offer a great combination of components that will let an enthusiast get the most from these video cards. ASUS has provided the perfect trifecta: Super Alloy Power to improved power circuitry, Voltage Tweak to increase the Vcore, and the DirectCU II cooling solution to handle that extra heat. At $324.99 and $349.99 the ASUS EAH6950 DirectCU II and ASUS ENGTX570 DirectCU II should both be on any enthusiasts short list depending on what features you require. If you plan a multi-display configuration, you will have support for this on the ASUS EAH6950 DirectCU II in ways the ENGTX570 DirectCU II can't touch. On the other hand, the ENGTX570 might give you more performance when overclocked. We feel that both video cards here deserve our HardOCP Editor's Choice Silver Award for an outstanding piece of engineering.
