The Torch 9850 offers a full 3.7-inch touchscreen display with an 800 x 480-pixel resolution, a 1.2GHz processor, support for global roaming in more than 200 countries, a 5-megapixel camera capable of recording 720p HD video and 16GB of storage. The Torch 9850 was first unveiled during a RIM event in Toronto on August 3rd where we published hands-on impressions of the phone. It is the best full-touchscreen smartphone RIM has sold and its browser is much improved, but the BlackBerry 7 operating still feels stale in comparison to Android, Windows Phone a...

Care for a taste of a keyboard-less 'Berry smartphone? Well, Walmart may have something that will spark your interest – the BlackBerry Torch 9850, which is currently available for pre-order on the retailer's web page.
Getting the smartphone will set you back $99, which is a pretty good offer considering that Sprint is expected to offer the device for $50 more. Of course, your signature on a 2-year agreement with Sprint will be required. Unfortunately, there are no details given in regards to the Torch 9850's shipping time frame, and since the carrier has yet to announce an official release date for the handset, when the order will be delivered to your doorstep is still anybody's guess.

At its press event in London today, RIM outed all the details about its biggest global launch ever, to 225 carriers, of a fresh handsets crop with the brand spanking new BlackBerry 7 OS.
The new announcements included RIM's hyped all-touchscreen phone BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860, and the BlackBerry Torch 8910, a successor to the original Torch, which will be exclusive to AT&T in August.
The more interesting handset, however, is undoubtedly the BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860. Under the 9850 number it will appear with CDMA radio with Sprint and U.S. Cellular, while the GSM version 9860 will land on AT&T, Rogers, Tellus and Bell in North America, with HSPA+ radio inside. BlackBerry Torch 9860 lighting up the FCC? (Update: frequencies added)
Like UnlikeFiled in: Cell PhonesRIM BlackBerryTorch 9850
We're not precisely sure which model this mystery phone is with the neon-green back, but we know it's from RIM, and it looks an awful lot like some of the early leaked shots we've seen of the 9860, aka the Torch. It's made a visit to the FCC under the moniker RDH71CW / RDP71UW / RDQ71UW, different designations for various frequency flavors we presume, but at this point is only being tested for Bluetooth and WiFi compliance, leaving us guessing as to future carriers. Place your bets in comments below, and feel free to speculate about when this thing might actually ship -- and what color it might be when it does.
Update: Digging deeper into the filings, we discovered that RDH71CW supports GSM ...
