Motorola CITRUS Pro Reviews

brighthand‘s review Edit

The market for this device is for those people looking at their first or second smartphone, without the bells and whistles of some of the more notable Android releases. To that group, it will be a refreshing change, while giving just enough of a familiar experience to typical feature phones that it won't seem like too large of a jump. It isn't a smartphone that's meant to be pushed like the Droid Pro or the Samsung Fascinate - but it offers some similar experiences, and keeps a few dollars in your wallet while offering some similar abilities.

Phone Scoop‘s review Edit

The Citrus makes good calls. That’s the only good thing I can say about it. If you don’t misdial, your calls will sound nice and clear, and the battery won’t die on you in the course of a day’s use. But the phone skimps on so many of Motorola’s best social networking features and custom widgets that I’d have a hard time recommending this phone over any other Motorola Android device, or just about any other smartphone, period. This phone may be partly recycled, but it’s one for the compost heap, for sure.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Motorola Citrus is a poor Android device for Verizon subscribers; it's not nearly enough of a contender to warrant the modest savings at the retail counter.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

the Motorola CITRUS is everything you expect of an entry-level phone. The materials are cheap, the display – poor, and performance - lackluster. The lone bright spot for the CITRUS is the camera, but it is merely a decent performer, not anything spectacular. We really can’t find much nice to say about the CITRUS, and with such a great entry-level option like the Vortex, we can’t see why anyone would choose the Motorola.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The Motorola Citrus is small and devoid of high-end features, but it works as a beginner Android phone.
