ASUS EN9800GTX/HTDP/512M Pro Reviews

TechSpot‘s review Edit

The 9800 GTX is not a bad value at all. In fact, this price range could hurt the Radeon HD 3870 X2, as the GeForce 9800 GTX was often found delivering very similar performance to the dual-GPU juggernaut. The GeForce 9800 GX2 remained as the pack leader all over the place.

The 9800 GTX looks good as always, but with word coming that NVIDIA are already talking about the 9900 series, you have to wonder how many people are going to jump on the bandwagon.

The 9800 GTX TOP from ASUS doesn’t disappoint in the performance department with it really able to nip on the heels of the more expensive GX2 in most places, bar 3DMark06.

The 9800 GTX is undoubtedly a good card for anyone looking to upgrade from a mid-range card or a particularly old high-end card. However, if you already own any high-end graphics card from the last year there's little reason to upgrade.
