eMachines EZ1601-01 Pro Reviews

SlashGear‘s review Edit

A reasonably stylish all-in-one with a sub-$400 price-tag and 18.5-inch widescreen display: too good to be true or bargain of the century? The eMachines EZ1601-01 poaches Intel’s trusty Atom processor for some desktop duty, offering a squint-free LCD and full-sized peripherals. SlashGear have been testing it out.

computershopper‘s review Edit

At $399, the EZ1601-01 is the least-expensive all-in-one we've seen, by a fair margin. We like its easy portability, but its performance is slower than other nettops.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

If you need an absolute bare bones PC to do Web surfing and tasks like school work, the eMachines EZ1601-01 nettop will give you a PC with a large screen for under $400. However, for the price, it is a harder sell against "full" desktops, particularly since the EZ1601-01's 1GB of RAM limits its performance.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

If you must buy a Nettop, the eMachines EZ1601-01's large screen and category-competitive components make a decent argument for its value among other systems like it. One look at a true budget desktop, or even a Netbook, and the appeal of this system diminishes quickly.
