Pantech Jest Pro Reviews

phonedog‘s review Edit

The Pantech Jest is a great phone for anyone who does a lot of texting or youngsters getting their first phone. It may not have the greatest camera and the 2.5 mm headphone jack may cause a few frustrations, but it performs well, is easy to use, and has a fantastic QWERTY keyboard. Probably the best part about this whole package is that it's free. Yup, right now at Verizon, you can pick up the Jest for free after signing a new contract and receiving your rebates. Check one out a your local Verizon store and see what you think.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Pantech Jest feels well built, but its stubborn touchpad, subpar camera, and needlessly complex UI leave it with few redeeming qualities.

The Pantech Jest is a decent messaging phone for the young social -networking enthusiast, but the optical pad might be a nuisance.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

Based on our usage of the Pantech Jest, we feel that it is an OK messaging device that has a nice 2.6” display and comes in at a low price, but the poor call quality and signal reception has us concerned, as this still hasn’t been fixed since we reviewed the Razzle and Blitz. We can only hope that Pantech will get this right the next time around. At this point, we would suggest the LG Cosmos VN250 instead, as it not only offers better call quality and signal reception, but a better designed QWERTY keyboard as well.
