The software works really well, no viruses or real slowdown. I did upgrade to leopard after a few months with my computer.
I've also got windows installed via bootcamp that works surprisingly well. My windows macbook is more stable than a lot of other windows computers. I really notice a lot of the little things that i prefer about mac osx when using windows on the computer. The touchpad scrolling doesn't work as well on windows even with good mac drivers. A lot of the keyboard shortcuts are more difficult on windows.
Overall, I've had a fantastic experience with this computer. Anything that went wrong was fixed quickly for free. The computer has been virus free and been very dependable. I doubt I'll ever buy anything but a macbook to fit my laptop needs.
