HP ZR30W Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The HP ZR30w is a massive 30-inch IPS monitor with an equally massive price tag. It offers good grayscale performance and wide viewing angles but its lack of picture settings and limited video inputs hold it back.

After being blown clean away, by the HP ZR2740w’s picture quality, I just knew a larger screen size supporting a higher resolution would easily unseat the the stellar 27-incher. I was wrong. My faux pas is your cream filling. I am very happy to say, the LED-backlit 27-inch IPS monitor from HP is easily the better buy. For half the cost, users are treated to an obviously superior performer, while conceding three minor inches to the 30-inch. A no-brainer, no matter how you “view” it!

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The HP ZR30w lacks too many features to be competitive with other, lower-priced 30-inchers.

HotHardware‘s review Edit

Built for the graphics professional, we like the simplified aesthetics and brushed aluminum strip that runs on top of the bezel. We also dig the flexible stand, which makes easy work out of manipulating the ZR30w's position, but it's the S-IPS panel that we're most in love with. The high end panel didn't disappoint, boasting superb color reproduction, excellent uniformity, and even proved adept at playing games. If you can live with the few drawbacks, the ZR30w will serve as an all around workhorse built for business but equally suited for play.

AnandTech‘s review Edit

The ZR30w is definitely a serious contender among 30” displays. It’s an attractive package that wows with above average color tracking, an impressive gamut, and a competitive price, but lacks some of the extra “accessory” inputs that consumers are starting to demand. That said, it looks like the ZR30w is a solid option if you’re looking for a 30” display with an unbeatable color gamut.
