The design goal of Argon3L was to keep the praised midrange resolution while improving the bass extention with the bigger box. The increased volume allows extending the bass perfomance from 40 Hz in Argon2 Anniversary and Argon3 to31 Hz in Argon3L.The aim was to add weight, but no bloat and therefore Argon3L has a very solid and heavy enclosure, which weighs almost twice that of similar sized and priced competitive products.
