Ricoh GR Digital III Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

A true enthusiast's camera that prioritises image quality and ergonomics over fancy features. Stiff competition is its only stumbling block.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

The latest in Ricoh's GR DIGITAL range of superior compact digital cameras is its finest achievement yet with exceptional picture quality, a wide range of manual settings, RAW capability and plenty of scope for customisation... but all at an uncomfortably high price.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Ricoh GR Digital III is sturdy enough build to withstand everyday knocks, boasts an impressive lens and a speedy image processor. We like that its unusual and useful spirit-level feature ensures straight horizons. The Ricoh GR Digital III suffers from uninspiring design, however, and its fixed lens limits flexibility and requires care when composing images.

ephotozine‘s review Edit

In terms of noise control, this has to be the best Ricoh compact ever made which quells my thoughts that the third camera is generally the worst! It's very similar to the previous model in terms of build and layout but there are plenty of new additions to keep newcomers and upgraders happy.

Register Hardware‘s review Edit

Fantastic customisation, superb handling and performance. What’s not to like? Well, the price is rather steep, even for high-end a compact.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The Ricoh GR Digital III remains a unique camera. It offers a range of user control normally associated with fairly advanced DSLRs in a well-designed, slim and pocket-friendly camera that is a genuine pleasure to use. Image quality is comparable with the very best that compact cameras can offer, with build quality and finish to match. The only downside is the price, and the fact that its competitors offer more features for less money.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

Fittingly, it’s third time lucky for Ricoh’s GR Digital Mk III. The Mk I was good but had issues over noise, the Mk II was better but still was not quite there. But here at last the promise shown by those forbears has born fruit; the GR Digital Mk III is superb and performs superbly too.

Steve's Digicams‘s review Edit

The GRD3 is a fine enthusiast camera that offers the "best of the best" in quality/features. This is an expensive digicam, but one could justify the hefty price when taking into consideration the quality of its features
