Ownership period: more than 1 year.

It came without an OS. So, the first expense as soon as you buy this machine is you have to purchase an OS. After loading the OS, you are worry free now. All Thinkpads are really built to last long and I mean really long. So, this one is yours to keep like forever.
No webcam is included which is a disappointment but then this is a business laptop. Another cumbersome thing is the weight of this machine. It is simply too much. I guess the screen of 15.6 inches adds to the weight. So, try and buy a 14 inch version.
