Acer Aspire 1410 Pro Reviews

AnandTech‘s review Edit

If you can live with the hit on battery life, there are many, many reasons to spring for an Acer 1410 or a similarly low priced CULV ultraportable notebook, even with a single-core processor. They offer adequate performance, embarrass the Atom, and come equipped with some nice features that most netbooks leave on the wayside to reduce cost as much as possible.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Acer Aspire 1410 is clearly better than any netbook we've reviewed in terms of pure performance. It is meant for people interested in a compact, thin and light laptop that offers impressive ultraportability without huge performance bottlenecks. Compared to a netbook, its price may seem high, but it isn't considering the Aspire 1410's feature set and performance benefits.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The Acer Aspire 1410-74G25n sets a very high bar for the other laptops on test, and the excellent battery life will be a clincher for many buyers. If you're after power, however, we suggest you check out the Lenovo G550.

Liliputing‘s review Edit

The Acer Aspire One strikes an excellent balance between power, performance, price and battery life. The updated model offers marginally better performance and a much improved operating system at a lower price, which makes this $400 laptop look pretty attractive.

netbooked.net‘s review Edit

The Acer Aspire AS1410 performs very well in all areas with no major turn-offs and for only $399.99 it represents the best value 11.6-inch netbook / notebook on the market currently. I wholeheartedly recommend it. If you need more power and more than 4-hours of battery life there is the higher end Aspire 1810 / 1810TZ models available.

Forget wheezing Atom-powered netbooks: This compact Aspire delivers Windows 7, an 11.6-inch screen, and decent performance for about the same price.
