Toshiba to update Thrive tablet to Android 4 before summer

Toshiba USA just revealed over Twitter that it plans to update its Thrive 10.1-inch tablet to Android 4.0 before the end of the spring. This puts the release in mid-June, as the summer season starts on June 20.
The Thrive is available in three models, with 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities. They are priced at $429, $479, and $570, respectively. All share the dual-core, 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and a 1280x800 resolution display. It differs from other Android tablets by virtue of its user-removable battery and swappable rear covers.
