Google has announced an update to its Android software developer kit tools and Eclipse plugin, bringing the SDK to Revision 17. The new version brings a number of new features as well as bug fixes.
The update offers improved Lint support in Eclipse, including the ability to suppress Lint warning in Java code. Improvements have also been made to the build systems for Eclipse and Ant. R17 also provides Intel x86 platform virtualization support and experimental multi-touch input (using a tethered Android device) in the emulator as well as an updated Support Library. »read more
