Verizon restarts HTC DROID Incredible Gingerbread deployment

HTC and Verizon Wireless have apparently restarted the deployment of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the original DROID Incredible. Initially released back in September, the companies pulled the update shortly after it went out for undisclosed reasons. Here we are over two months later and users are reporting left and right that the upgrade is once again available to them. Users should get a notification on their devices when the update is ready to be downloaded and installed, or they can manually check through the Settings app on the phone itself. »read more
