As promised, Nintendo on Thursday morning posted Netflix for 3DS owners. The app (not pictured here) gives the dual-screen game system access to the whole catalog as long as they have a streaming-enabled plan. Bookmarking still works and lets users resume on the 3DS or another device.
Videos on Netflix are currently in 2D. It's not clear if or when Netflix will start adding 3D.
The app itself is free to download from the Nintendo eShop. Streaming under the newly instituted rates stays at $8 for those who only need streaming but costs $16 for those who also want unlimited DVDs. »read more
