Optoma announced a few months ago their new ML500 projector. Today, The ML500 is now being released to the consumer market. This projector uses LED lamps instead of traditional lamps to create 500 ANSI lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. The device is incredibly light, weighing only 2.5 lbs and it is small enough to pack in a travel bag, suitcase, or laptop case. The connection panel includes a wide array of connection options like an SD card slot, HDMI, VGA, composite, and a mini USB port.
