LG Pop GD510 Pro Reviews

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The LG POP GD510 is an entertaining, relatively low-priced taste of touchscreen action that delivers an enjoyable and comfortable user experience. Sure, it doesn't have all the top-end gadgetry and lacks high-speed connectivity, but if its features tick the box for you, the slim, chic and cheap LG POP GD510 could be on your hit list.

Not actually a bad phone, just one let down by the choice of touchscreen tech.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

LG has really done an excellent job with the Pop. It's a great handset to use if you don't want to spend big on a mobile phone. The slow internet connectivity is a bit of a bind given that the software is there ready and waiting to help you access everything you need, but perhaps that's not really the aim of this phone. Go and pay for a black label handset or an Arena if you want that kind of thing.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

With its small body and neat design, the LG GD510 Pop could have been a great low-cost touchscreen phone and certainly it's the best device of this type that LG has yet produced so if you've liked its previous designs, it's well worth considering. However, for most users we feel LG has simply cut too many corners in the hardware, rendering the relatively large touchscreen essentially pointless. Ultimately, on a phone this basic, we'd rather have a sturdier design with some proper buttons for text entry.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

The LG Pop GD510 is an ultra compact and truly likeable, affordable handset with touch-sensitive screen and design that allows for installation of a solar panel. In our opinion, this is one of the best cell phones in its class. How come? Well, read on and you will find out...

GSMArena‘s review Edit

It looks like LG have been playing their own version of will it blend. There's no need to tell you they're not playing for fun - they're rather trying to squeeze some more cash off a couple of hot-selling handsets. So, here's the deal. Get your blender, throw in an LG Arena and a Cookie and set the speed to "budget". And there you have it - an LG GD510 Pop - ready to be served to the happy masses. The "pop" LG are going for is definitely "popular", as opposed to the "popstar stuff" some of you may have hoped for.
