HTC Tattoo Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

The HTC Tattoo is a cute little Android phone that's available free on contract for £20 a month. Despite its budget price, it has all the features you'd expect on a smartphone, including GPS, FM Radio, Bluetooth and WiFi.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The HTC Tattoo is a fine smartphone, but the small, lower-resolution display and the lack of multitouch may force many users to shell out extra for the more expensive Hero.

SlashGear‘s review Edit

While the first handful of Android devices were tasked with showing the platform’s high-end potential, the HTC Tattoo – like the Huawei Pulse – now fleshes out the budget end of the market. That fits in perfectly with Google’s initial goal for Android, a free OS that makes cheap phones cheaper but that’s also capable enough for flagship devices. Feature-phones watch out: Android is gunning for you now.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The HTC Tattoo brilliantly showcases just what is great about the Android OS. The phone's great ability to sync with Google apps and Exchange means that it is a great option for business users. The bottom line is: if you are interested in just what Android has to offer at a more than reasonable price bracket, then this is one Tattoo that you will not regret having.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The HTC Tattoo is a fair entry-level Android device with a cool customization feature, but there are better options for the North American market.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

The HTC Tattoo took the plunge to a lower segment of the smartphone market to give Android some fresh air and open space. It was quite a while ago really but now that more and more droids are keen to think small, let’s see how it works for one of the pace setters. Compact size and reasonable price tag, the HTC Tattoo was among the first to try and sell Android to the masses.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

Overall the HTC Tattoo experience is a good one. Sure, it is a noticeable step down from the Hero and rightly so. You don't get the same touch response and it doesn't look as sharp as the Hero. The keyboard experience isn't as good (with a caveat on long nails) and the browser doesn't have the same natural experience without multi-touch.

The HTC Tattoo is a very nice, small, stylish, and low cost Android smartphone. However, it certainly has its limitations like its small screen. It's definitely worth considering though.

The HTC Tattoo is one of the most affordable Android smartphones to hit the market. As the name suggests, the Tattoo features customizable covers and offers plenty of other features under its hood.

Softpedia‘s review Edit

HTC Tattoo has all the ingredients to become a well-sold smartphone, if the Taiwanese manufacturer will set the right price for it. I find the device as one of the best mid-budget phones, as it has a very nice design and excellent features. All that remains is a cheap price, so that a high percentage of smartphone users get to at least try it.

The HTC Tattoo – the latest Android-based addition to the product catalogue of HTC and the first one ever equipped with a 2.8-inch display. Considered an affordable option for people on a tight budget, you can see the manufacturer has made several hardware compromises...
