The LG Chocolate Touch is a top-notch voice phone on Verizon and offers stellar media capabilities, but heavy e-mailers should stick with the enV Touch for its hardware keyboard.

Despite our issues with the browser and the uninteresting design, the LG Chocolate Touch is a terrific music phone for Verizon Wireless.

The Chocolate Touch is a welcome addition to the mid-range feature phone lineup at Verizon, with an absolutely fantastic music player. The phone offers reliable voice and data services, and battery life isn't too bad either. While I doubt that the smartphone user or is going to be swayed by the VX8575, it's a great choice for someone looking for a feature-rich multimedia device.

LG offers up its third version of the Chocolate phone for Verizon Wireless, this time bringing a touch user interface to the mix. It lives up to the Chocolate's music-rich heritage, but leaves a bitter aftertaste.

If you're desperate for a touch screen phone and love your music, the LG VX8575 Chocolate Touch serves as a satisfactory follow-up to the LG Chocolate 3. It offered good call quality and battery life, but its camera was mediocre at best, its touch screen wasn't as responsive as I'd like, and Web browsing was just shy of dismal.

Over the past three years Verizon has continually released a new phone in their LG Chocolate series, with the newest one being the Chocolate Touch VX8575. As the name implies, the device features a touchscreen interface, but is also geared to the consumer, looking for a music-centric phone...
