Sony Ericsson Yari Pro Reviews

reghardware‘s review Edit

The Sony Ericsson Yari scores pretty well in the light/bushel stakes. It has the appearance of a bog standard SE mid to low ender, but manages to pack in a decent music player and web browser, a fine camera and the latest in SE's gaming technology, as well as a fistful of other useful extras. Yes, a bigger screen would have made more of all these functions, but then it wouldn't have been so pocketable.

Softpedia‘s review Edit

Even though I have used the phone for about a week, I wasn't too impressed by its feel and performance. While some of its features are pretty nice, Sony Ericsson Yari is not that brilliant slider that I was expecting. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a good music phone, Yari is not going to disappoint you as it's one of the best.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

Sony Ericsson's Yari plays it a little too safe. As a result, the Yari is a decent product but something that will probably be completely forgotten in a couple of months.

A fun little handset that tests the water for Wii-style gesture-recognition gaming on a mobile.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The Sony Ericsson Yari U100i is marketed as a gesture gaming handset but in reality there's nothing special about it. While it comes preloaded with 12 games, many of them are very poor and those that use gesture input just rely on the same accelerometers you get on countless phones nowadays. The one exception is the inclusion of the superb PSP game, LocoRoco, which is great fun. All told, though, there's not enough here to convince us.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

The Sony Ericsson Yari may miss the mark as the most innovative slider, but only if you don't look closer. Upon a second look, you will find that the Sony Ericsson Yari is a tiny little thing that's full of surprises...

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

The Sony Ericsson Yari is a youthful handset with cheerful design, cool functions and a great set of preinstalled games, some of them controlled in an intriguing way by using the camera to detect your motions. Is this a great cell phone for kids and teens? Read on and you´ll find out...
