Canon PowerShot A470 Pro Reviews

Macworld‘s review Edit

If you normally shoot pictures with a mobile phone camera, or if you want to try your hand at digital photography, the A470 is a great place to start. Offering very good image quality with a nice set of controls, the A470 is a fine snapshot camera that sets a great example of how less can be more in the realm of digital photography.

The Imaging Resource‘s review Edit

Overall, the Canon PowerShot A470 is sure to be a crowd pleaser. It comes in fun colors, is easy to operate, yet offers a handful of more advanced features for more experienced users. It's small, pocketable, and has minimal controls to fiddle with. Add to this the Canon A470's great exposure and color handling, and a very low price and you have a classic bargain digital camera. What more could you ask?

Steve's Digicams‘s review Edit

One of the latest "A" series models from Canon this year, the PowerShot A470 is one of the best deals available for an entry-level digital camera. The combination of excellent quality images, increased performance from previous models and the all around ease of use makes this camera perfect for anyone looking for their first digital camera or someone needing a simple camera to keep for use on a moments notice.
