NOKIA N86 8MP Pro Reviews

letsgomobile‘s review Edit

Except for a few designer issues, such as the design of the keypad and the position of the keys below the screen, the Nokia N86 is a nice and neat multimedia smartphone. All the functions are there. The Symbian software runs well and makes everything easily accessible. The digital camera is a true ace, it's for a reason Nokia calls the phone: Nokia N86 8MP.

Register Hardware‘s review Edit

Sure, it won’t shake up the smartphone market. But, bringing 8Mp camerawork to the Nokia range for the first time, the N86 is another heavyweight addition to the N-series line-up.

The N86, being an N-series device after all, comes with a bevy of features besides its 8-megapixel camera. But knowing this, Nokia intends to seamlessly integrate the device's imaging capabilities to work in tandem with its myriad of functions such as Nokia Maps and its photo-sharing feature, all falling under the Ovi umbrella.

If you like the Nokia S60 interface and want to take good pictures sign up. For the rest, you have to ask whether taking on the S60 interface is a hit you are willing to take, just so you can take good pictures with your phone.

MobileBurn‘s review Edit

The Nokia N86 8MP is a great handset and a significant improvement in build quality from previous Nokia Nseries sliders. Overall, it seems that Nokia have polished their Nseries devices to a higher standard, cramming the most tech possible into the smallest form factor. However, I feel somewhat underwhelmed. What with the aggressive competition in the marketplace and the amount of innovation on show from competitors, the N86 8MP feels a bit, well, boring really.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

You may've thought Nokia lost their touch, you may be out of love with the Nseries but the Nseries are always keeping an eye on you. Their wide-angle, variable aperture eye. On you. Whether the Nokia Nseries are making up the ground lost in the megapixel race or claiming back what they believe is rightfully theirs, they seem to have the right leadership to put them back on the megapixel map.
