The Nokia 6710 Navigator won't replace your standalone GPS due to its small screen. For a mobile phone though, it provides a solid and smooth navigation experience thanks to a combination of good hardware and well designed software.

Well, it's hard to find any real competition for the 6710 Navigator when it comes to pure navigation skills. Couple that with strong performance elsewhere and you have a tool that can be of great value to people who travel a lot - for them the 6710 will replace a handful of devices, from dedicated GPS to music players. Of course, those multi-purpose smartphones are keen to somewhat spoil its party but a highly competitive market is a blessing for end users, for offering both good prices and plenty of choice.

By itself, the 6710 Navigator is similar to most other devices. It has the bells and whistles that come with it that make it worth your attention. Free maps of any countries with Ovi Maps? That's one brownie point. Lifetime navigation license for the place of purchase? Make that two. Integrated real time traffic info that's practical and allows you to estimate your journeys properly and avoid possible traffic congestion.

Today you are meeting the Nokia 6710 Navigator, coming out as a follow-up to the 6210 that in turn, did leave us quite impressed last year. With a larger display, more capable camera, Wi-Fi support and latest Ovi Maps with nice extras, the new cell phone seems to improve on all aspects of its predecessor...
