NOKIA E55 Pro Reviews

Softpedia‘s review Edit

Nokia E55 may be one of the best Eseries smartphones without a full-QWERTY keyboard, but it belongs to an era long gone. Symbian^1 is an obsolete platform that cannot rival with the newest operating systems launched on the market. Also, its high price makes it even more 'undesirable' unless you are really a Nokia freak.

expertreviews‘s review Edit

Nokia's E55 is the thinnest and lightest phone here, but its large screen and semi-QWERTY keyboard also make it one of the tallest. It still manages to house two cameras, including a 3.2-megapixel main camera with an LED flash, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The case feels tough, with a brushed-metal button bar below the screen and a metallic backplate with a funky machined pattern that improves grip.

reghardware‘s review Edit

The Nokia E55 is an extremely neat and powerful business handset. The SureType-style keyboard layout is a practical compromise between Qwerty and standard numeric keypads, though the keys could have done with just a smidgeon more feedback. Messaging is up to par, as is the browser once you've taught yourself the shortcuts. Camera and media player aren't among the best, but they're far from the worst and easily pass muster if you don't intend either to be the main focus of your phone.

Hardly sexy and the screen is small, but this thin and light phone is impressively powerful for the price

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Nokia's phones have been a bit hit and miss of late, but it has to be said that the E-series has remained consistently strong throughout this period and the E55 continues this trend. Its combination of large screen, very usable keyboard and impressive messaging capabilities make it a good choice for those who are happy to stick with a traditional candybar design.

MobileBurn‘s review Edit

The Nokia E55 smartphone is designed for business. It sports a sleek body, a 20-key QWERTY keypad, and even a real 3.5mm headphone port for those down moments.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

Sometimes, a phone is nearly perfect, except for that one small thing you want to change. If you felt that way about Nokia E52, the E55 claims to have the answer. Don't get us wrong - the E52 has killer looks and specs. And the E55… well, like we told you, it's the same phone save for that one little thing.
