NOKIA 5730 XpressMusic Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

Battery life is impressive considering the number of features crammed into the phone. Overall, the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic is a great addition to the XpressMusic mobile phone range. Anyone who likes their music and phone bundled together should take a look at it.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic has plenty of decent features that should make it very attractive, and it delivers an exceptional music performance. But overall it has a hybrid feel to it that helps make its design less than appealing. Its bulkiness is a drawback unless you're really taken with the idea of a QWERTY keyboard on a music-centred mobile. Pitched at a target market where it's competing for attention against plenty of slick, well featured touchscreen smartphones, it's unlikely to be a chart-topper.

With its slide out keyboard, onboard GPS, dedicated music buttons and N-Gage support, the 5730 is certainly packed with features. However, we found it a difficult phone to love because of its chunky dimensions and awkward controls. The simple fact of the matter is that there are far better phones in Nokia’s XpressMusic range available at a similar price point.

Softpedia‘s review Edit

Nokia 5730 XpressMusic looks like an ordinary bar handset, until you discover its QWERTY keyboard. I would say that the phone might be a good choice for those youngsters who use their phones to text and listen to music a lot. A little bit sensible to the environment because of the cheap plastic, Nokia 5730 requires some level of protection from the user.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

No news is good news and the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic is quite keen to go about humming that tune like it didn’t care. Recruiting Symbian for an entertainment job is nothing new really and no, we’re not surprised that yet another handset wants to be the N97 of its neighborhood. The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic doesn’t really shine but it’s fit enough to handle quite a workload. Whether you need a smartphone for the knack or for the fun of it, this all-in-one messenger promises a bit of everything: music, web, gaming and connectivity.

Social networks, music and chats have become integral to modern cell phones. Trying to keep up and stay in the forefront, Nokia released their first music-oriented handsets with full QWERTY keyboard at the height of this summer – the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic…
