LG Cookie - Great taste, bad ingredients

Created by branko on Feb 19, 2010

Ownership period: less than a month.
KP500 is name that's so hard to say no to. It is a affordable touch screen phone, has a very decent specs sheet and it has a nice interface.

When I first saw it in a mobile store I was like: that's a nice phone! I have to have one. It was really cheap and I took a closer look at it. I unlocked it first by holding the lock key, it showed widget page (like samsungs widgets). It was kinda lagging when I was trying to put new widgets on the screen... it was a little annoying. I immediately erased that lagging out of my head because I like the design so much :) The next thing I clicked was icon for main menu... hmm... nice there was some animation going on! OK, let's try writing a message... it first opened a normal keyboard (9 keys with three or more letters on it).. so I was thinking let's try to rotate it - I was sure it doesn't have an accelerometer but it had. so qwerty pops up and it was really not that hard to type on, especially with stylus which is integrated into the phone. so I was trying one thing at a time and concluded to buy one.

Everybody had a touch phone so I had to buy this one :)
This month I tried iPhone (for the first time) and Google phone..... what a difference! Touch screen is sooo much responsive than kp500 and there is no lagging! I sold my cookie and now I'm back with my Samsung L700.... I'm short with money so I'm on standby :)

That's it!
Sorry if there is any mistakes in my english.
Thanks
