Samsung Emporio Armani Night Effect Pro Reviews

ITreviews‘s review Edit

This is a middle of the road handset in terms of features, and its very obvious Armani branding will limit its appeal to those who are keen on that company and making their affiliations known.

reghardware‘s review Edit

This fashion-label phone may give you a distinctive look but it doesn’t deliver any of the wow-factor features it would need to be a must-have. Its splash-the-cash appeal is clearly based on the Emporio Armani branding - and that neon-strip styling. If that makes you swoon, then the features-for-the-money factor will probably be secondary to anyway.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

Far from being a phone for fence-sitters, the Emporio Armani Samsung mobile has a distinctive identity that will divide opinion. Brand attraction will have as much a part to play in the buying decision as any functionality concerns. Its features rundown may be more mid-range high street than high-end couture, but for the phone fashionista that label-appeal will no doubt be the main draw.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

While Samsung Armani Night Effect phone is well built, we found it rather offensive in its design. So we aren’t the target market and perhaps this flash-in-the-pan fashion phone will appeal to some. For us, those bright lights mean that if unless you really want to show your love for the Armani label you'll probably want to look elsewhere.

The love-them-or-hate-them flashing sidelights are a real downer for me as is the branding overkill. Only the surprisingly good audio quality saves this mid-range phone from a lower score though the dual headset system is flawed. Why not just provide a two-piece 3.5mm headset, instead of forcing those who want hands-free to use that microUSB connector, Samsung?

GSMArena‘s review Edit

The Samsung M7500 Emporio Armani is a stylish handset with a distinct focus on music. The flashing light effects, the dedicated music keys plus the 3.5mm jack and the slightly redone music player application are a reason enough for music lovers to check it out before purchasing their next handset. The distinct music slant is also quite in line with the handset's obvious refusal to compete for a top slot in the fashion phone segment.
