LG Versa Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The LG Versa for Verizon is truly unique: a touch-screen phone with a detachable keyboard. And it's got a fun interface. We just wish its music and media features were stronger.

LAPTOP Magazine‘s review Edit

This touchscreen phone stands out from the crowd with its detachable keyboard, but it’s a little too awkward to use.

LG Versa is a versatile cell phone that’s a great fit for someone who likes a touch screen display and appreciates having a QWERTY keypad nearby if needed.

mobiledia‘s review Edit

This is a phone for people who appreciate versatility, or perhaps those who simply can't decide between the LG Dare and Voyager. In many respects, the Versa has the best of both worlds: It's a slim and sleek touch-screen handset that's an impressive device on its own, and with a full QWERTY keypad attachment, it can instantly transform into a mobile messaging machine like the Voyager. With and without the QWERTY attachment, messaging is a breeze.

The LG Versa is one of the newest phones available on the Verizon network, and it's aptly named because it's removable keyboard makes it quite versatile.

Phone Scoop‘s review Edit

Due to the Jekyll and Hyde nature of the Versa, I'd weigh its purchase carefully. It works just fine without the keyboard, and in fact, is probably a better phone without the added bulk of the full QWERTY. However, if you're a messaging maniac and crave a real keyboard from time to time, the Versa provides some flexibility.

phonemag‘s review Edit

Verizon released the LG Versa, a nice touch screen phone with a detachable full size QWERTY keyboard for easier messaging and web browsing. The device is a great phone, with a really REALLY smooth UI, fast OS and unique features, and anyone in the market for a text-centric phone with a touch screen might consider the LG Versa.

MobileBurn‘s review Edit

The idea of a modular phone has been around for a while. Remove a part, add a part, end up with what you need. In theory, at least. Well, LG's Versa seems to have mostly pulled off the modularization trick.

Digital Trends‘s review Edit

The LG Versa is a solid smartphone with a good camera, fast Internet access and nifty aesthetic. The attachable keyboard makes it a highly original offering as well. The chunky stylus and lack of peripherals like included headphones take the Versa down a notch, as the hyped multimedia is less well-organized than in other comparable phones. Even so, the Versa is worth opting for at a discounted price, although the full price puts it up against much more versatile contenders.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

If you can live with the clunky Web browser, the LG Versa is a very good touch-screen phone with the added versatility of optional modules.

One of the most intriguing phones to be released by Verizon this year is the Versa, which is now the third touchscreen phone offered by LG, after the Voyager and Dare. It builds upon the previous models in terms ...
