Samsung B2700 Pro Reviews

ITreviews‘s review Edit

The B2700 offers a fair range of rugged features that might endear it to outdoors types. Its biggest lures are the long battery life and tough casing, though there are significant compromises in other areas.

There are tougher phones out there, such as the buildingsite-centric JCB ToughPhone, but the B2700 Bound offers a fair level of protection for work and play while still providing modern comforts like 3G connectivity, a decent browser, media player and a compass, making it an ideal companion for outward bound trips or in less than pristine work conditions.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The B2700 isn't in the same category as the few industrial-strength bruisers of the mobile world that are armour-heavy but feature-light. It may not be the most high-spec of 3G handsets, but this active lifestyle phone will cope well for work, rest and hard play, with some decent mid-level features inside to keep you entertained. If you're looking for something affordable that'll survive the great outdoors intact, this could be well worth exploring.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

A year on from its predecessor this rugged phone from Samsung exhibits a few improvements, but I am not convinced the B2700 Bound has a place in the rucksack of the serious outdoors type on the basis of the features it offers. Its battery life, though, could buy its passage, because nobody wants to be caught in a sticky situation with a dead mobile phone.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

...We're yet to see how hard it is to break the B2700, but a compass, pedometer, altimeter and a flashlight do make it harder to resist. Significantly cheaper than the Sonim XP1, Samsung B2700 is making a good go at the rugged phone market.

You feel like going sightseeing in the weekend? Are you keen on exploring strange, unknown places, including dark and wet caves, mysterious rain forests and lost ruins? Well, if you’re that kind of explorer then the Samsung B2700 is just what you need...
