The BlackBerry Tour is the best CDMA BlackBerry that we’ve tested. Even with an ageing operating system, it is quite functional as either a personal or business smart phone. The Tour is an excellent choice and all of the things we found wrong with it are minor, except for the lack of Wi-Fi, which will be a deal-breaker for some.

The BlackBerry Tour for Sprint is an excellent, no-nonsense smartphone. The BlackBerry Tour isn't a flashy new touch-screen phone. It's a reliable performer on a proven platform.

I hate to say it, but the Tour feels good in the hand. But then you get to the keyboard. At first, I thought it was the greatest keyboard to ever come out of Waterloo, but that reaction quickly subsided once I started to peck away.

The Tour 9630 is a fantastic device, and is the best CDMA BlackBerry to date. Verizon and Sprint users will no doubt be pleased to own a device in the same league as their GSM friends. Strong signal strength, combined with good battery life and world capabilities will make this device a must-have for any business individual that travels on a regular basis.

I consider Blackberry Tour 9630 a good smartphone, better than many other BlackBerry phones. It looks good, seems solid enough and is fast performance-wise. Lack of Wi-Fi and low battery autonomy might be the only downsides of the device, but the use of CDMA network could counterbalance these.

The Bold took BlackBerry devices to a new design level, and CDMA users have been wanton for their own version since it was first announced. RIM did one better and gave them the BlackBerry Tour 9630. A beautiful blend of the Bold and Storm, the Tour packs some goodies under the hood too...
