Track Ball Issues

I wanted a tour for a little while until I noticed that many people had problems with their track balls. I asked the people who had problems, when the got their tour. And the people with faulty track balls all said they got it when it first came out. So now I'm a little confused as to how the first shipment phones could have such a major problem?

I waited to get mine and I've seen little problems here and there. Which can be frustrating but it seem to work well with the lightest amount of pressure to the trackball. Well and cleaning it with light amount of rubbing alcohol and compressed air.
