HTC Touch Diamond Pro Reviews

Fudzilla‘s review Edit

HTC has made a giant leap forward with its TouchFLO interface. The phones are easy to use and HTC made sure that phone calls, picture viewing or surfing the net are made easy with touch-screen communication via your fingers or the Stylus. If you’re a fan of Windows-based programs and are looking for an iPhone alternative, then look no further as your search is over.

expertreviews‘s review Edit

HTC's Touch Diamond is by far the smallest and slimmest phone in the group. Its sharp-cornered profile looks slick and, apart from the 'diamond' facets on the rear, it's attractive.

Slim, sleek, powerful and good value, but poor battery life rules this phone out of the running.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The HTC Touch Diamond offers much in the way of sex appeal and flash, and it's certainly got a formidable feature set. However, we hope HTC resolves some of the performance issues we experienced before the smartphone is released in the States.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

We called it a game for the Diamond and Omnia but the crowd is still on their feet, so there we go with the HTC Diamond's lap of honor. The latest HTC squad member, HTC Touch Diamond, might as well be starting a new era for Microsoft OS-powered mobiles.

MobileBurn‘s review Edit

While the original HTC Touch Diamond, a device that operates on GSM and UMTS networks, has been around for quite a few months, it took until today for the first U.S. carrier variant to show up. Sprint's version of the Touch Diamond shares the same basic form factor and capabilities as the original, but has been given a toned down appearance on the outside while its internals have been updated to include support for Sprint's EV-DO 3G network.

HTC's Touch Diamond ($350 with a two-year contract) is a well-designed Windows Mobile smart phone whose compact, candy-bar design widens its appeal.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

Out of the numerous companies that manufacture Windows Mobile based smartphones, HTC continues to hit the mark with innovative products. We were highly impressed with the first HTC Touch Diamond we reviewed last year, though it was a GSM import, and then later with the CDMA variant that became available through Sprint. Now Verizon has followed suite with their release of their version of the Touch Diamond, and we’re glad to say that they got it right this time...
