Pentax Optio M50 Pro Reviews

Steve's Digicams‘s review Edit

As with past "M" series models I was pleased with the Optio M50's features. Pentax didn't change too much from the previous model but we welcomed the addition of the 5x optical zoom and Smile Capture feature. With average performance, great outdoor image quality, plenty of user-friendly exposure modes, and a street price of US$199 or less, I feel the Pentax Optio M50 will make a great digicam for the average consumer.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Pentax Optio M50 combines overall better-than-average performance with a host of fun features at a great price. But this solid camera is light on manual controls, making it better suited for novices than serious photographers.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

As an entry level camera, the Pentax M50 puts in a remarkably good performance that matches that of more expensive cameras. In particular the high ISO performance is impressive. While the camera may not match the style of some lifestyle cameras it certainly has enough going for it if image quality is a criteria. As point-and-shoot cameras go, Pentax is on the right track with the M50.
