Huawei P20 Pro Pro Reviews

SlashGear‘s review Edit

The P20 Pro demonstrates that Huawei is more than just a copycat in the smartphone space, but in fact capable of legitimate innovation. While it may not be the phone to bring that imagination to the US market, it does leave me eager to see what comes next on what’s suddenly shaping up to be a mighty interesting roadmap.

The Huawei P20 Pro offers a four different cameras, but doesn't quite deliver a great camera experience from all four of them.

Engadget‘s review Edit

In building the P20 Pro, Huawei wasn't just being ambitious — it was being audacious. The result is a flagship phone that's good enough to compete with the iPhones and Galaxys of the world. Don't get me wrong: It has its share of shortcomings, and the approach to software and emphasis on the camera ensure it won't make sense for everyone. That said, Huawei gets enough right here that I can't help but be disappointed that it will probably never go on sale in the US. For the rest of the world looking for a new flagship smartphone, the Huawei P20 Pro definitely deserves your attention.

Cnet‘s review Edit

The Huawei P20 Pro's groundbreaking low-light mode and stunning twilight colour scheme make it a serious contender to Galaxy, iPhone and Pixel phones. Sadly, you can't buy it in the US.

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

The Huawei P20 and especially the P20 Pro are the best phones that Huawei has made to date, but it’s hard to get inspired by a rip-off and the P20 series are in many ways just that.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Huawei P20 Pro (£799, about $1,100) is the most ambitious flagship phone from the Chinese manufacturer yet. As well as boasting a unique iridescent paint job and an AI-centric processor, its main camera unit comprises three (count 'em) lenses, which in practical terms gives you 5x lossless zoom and stunning long exposures in poorly lit areas. It's one of the best camera systems we've seen on a phone and it definitely warrants your attention.
