The SX730 offers the best colour performance of cameras in this class, with good colour straight from the camera, in a variety of lighting conditions. The camera is easy to use with a number of auto and scene modes, and for the more advanced there are manual controls. FullHD video recording is available, and with optical image stabilisation, video quality is good, although competitors now offer 4K video. The only question really is whether you should get this version with a tilting screen, or the previous version with a fixed screen.
