Canon PIXMA MG7720 Pro Reviews

computershopper‘s review Edit

As photo printers go, unless you’re willing to spend $500 or more for a dedicated professional-grade photo printer, such as Canon’s own Pixma Pro-100 or one of Epson’s SureColor models, this six-ink AIO is about as good as it gets for consumer-level photo printers. However, if you’re looking for something more well-rounded, with a more robust scanner, Epson’s six-ink Expression Photo XP-860 Small-in-One discussed earlier will be more suited to your needs. And frankly speaking, unless you know what to look for in your photo prints, we doubt that you’d see much, if any, difference in print quality between that model and this Pixma. That brings us right back to the Pixma MG7720 being a fine photo printer that has your back if you need to scan once in a while, make a copy now and then, print a label on a CD or two, and scan and print to and from the cloud, your mobile devices, and so on. And as long as you resign yourself to document printing only occasionally, we think you’ll like this printer. But we do believe that it’s time for Canon to get on board with some ink-cost relief.
