Canon PowerShot G9 X Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Canon PowerShot G9 X is the smallest camera you can get with a 1-inch image sensor, but it has a limited zoom range and is very slow when shooting in Raw format.

ephotozine‘s review Edit

The Canon Powershot G9 X is a compact and stylish digital camera that is designed to be small and pocketable whilst still delivering excellent image quality. Thankfully this is something the G9 X is highly capable of, with bright colourful images that pack in plenty of detail. Whilst compromises have been made in order to make the camera as small as it is, with only a 3x optical zoom lens, this is something we would be prepared to live with, as it lets the camera fit easily into pockets. The metal body and stylish design give the camera a premium look and feel that help justify the price, and we would be very happy to own this camera. The 3inch touchscreen on the back is easy to use and responsive, making it easy to change settings, and you can quickly get used to this method of operation. The camera is quick and responsive, and offers a fairly quick 6fps continuous shooting mode, although this is only available when shooting JPEG only, as when shooting raw the continuous shooting mode slow noticeably.
