The Samsung Multifunction Xpress M2885FW has many more pluses than minuses, and most of the downsides are typical for a monochrome AIO laser selling at this price point. What’s not typical at this price is the brisk print engine. If print speeds are important, the M2885FW could be an unusually good choice. Add in the ADF and double-sided printing, and it might be the best budget laser-AIO choice for a home or small business, if you’d use those features. The deal breaker for some will be the small, squinty LCD. We have to assume that most buyers would eagerly play an additional $10 to $20 for a moderate-size (and backlit) color screen. If you don’t mind the LCD, though, because you don’t tend to look at it, anyway (or do all that many “walk-up” operations), this may be the low-cost AIO that you have been searching for.
