Lenovo B50 Pro Reviews

computershopper‘s review Edit

The Lenovo B50 achieves success by staying in its lane and not trying to be all things to all people. Its design isn't terribly exciting, and it doesn't bother to follow the latest all-in-one trends as a family game center or tabletop computer. Instead, it sticks to the traditional all-in-one form factor and delivers outstanding video and audio capabilities along with strong performance for the price. For just a bit over $1,000, you get a powerful Core i7 CPU paired with an ample 12GB of memory. The 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT 840A graphics processor helps with media creation and editing tasks and provides some gaming capability if you keep your settings and resolution in check. And rounding out the lineup is a hybrid drive that offers a ton of storage space along with a speedy SSD. In addition to its decent showing in the labs, we found in anecdotal testing that the system powered on in only a few seconds and apps loaded quickly. Video playback was smooth, and movies and music sounded immersive in a small room.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Lenovo B50 is a midrange all-in-one desktop PC that's made to keep even enthusiast-level users happy for a few years. If you've been waiting to buy a Windows 8.1 PC to replace that aging Windows XP system, look at this one.
