Samsung WB2200F Pro Reviews

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

It feels odd at first, but the WB2200F grows on you the more you use it. The size added by the vertical grip is forgivable as it also adds extra battery life, but the problems with the AF system are more concerning. The camera delivers feature after feature, even if they're not all 100% successful, and if the ability to share your photos immediately after you've taken them, completely wirelessly, is important to you, then it achieves this quickly and smoothly.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Samsung WB2200F's 60x lens can capture virtually any scene, but it suffers from image noise and slow autofocus.

Digital Trends‘s review Edit

If you can get beyond its rather unusual shape and bulky size, the WB2200F is a mega-zoom we can easily recommend. Available for $450, it’s a better performer than the Nikon P600 and, based on MSRP, it costs less. Overall we were quite pleased with image quality (still and videos), focusing response, the optical image stabilization system, and the 60x lens. Definitely check out this somewhat strange-looking duck if you’re in the market for a mega-zoom.

ephotozine‘s review Edit

The Samsung WB2200F offers an impressive 60x optical zoom lens with styling and handling similar to a professional Digital SLR. This is designed to help you get the best grip possible when using a lot of optical zoom. Another benefit of this design is the use of a large battery that gives an impressive 600 shots. Along with other Samsung Smart Cameras, the Samsung WB2200F has the best Wi-Fi connectivity of any camera currently available, and it's a shame that other companies aren't as good at Wi-Fi as Samsung. It makes taking and sharing photos as simple and straightforward as sharing from your smartphone, except that you benefit from the noticeably better image quality, optical zoom and features of using a real camera. For anyone who wants a lot of optical zoom, good battery life, and excellent Wi-Fi connectivity, the Samsung WB2200F would make a good choice.
