ZTE Reef Pro Reviews

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

I'll be honest, you should buy the Reef only if you're interested in the water-resistant design and you don't want to pay a penny for your phone. To be sure, it has a bright display and it delivers enough smartphone features to keep you entertained. And though it takes a long time to boot up, it performed well in other areas. So, yes, there is more here than just a phone you can leave by the pool. But there's also a few things the reef doesn't have, mainly LTE support and a newer Android OS. So if you don't need a handset that can take a bath, I'd recommend looking around at Virgin's other options. For example, though it's a year older than the Reef, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has LTE and it's getting the Android 4.3 update. Even better, it's also free with service if you buy it online. The LG Optimus F3 is worth a look, as well. It's free online, has 4G, and a long-lasting battery.
